What usage means & where the stats come from
Targets are passes directed at a player. Carries are rushing attempts. Touches = carries + catches; opportunities = carries + targets. Scrimmage yards and touchdowns combine rushing and receiving, excluding passing. Opportunity share measures involvement in targeted passes and rushes, not every offensive play. Snap share and route participation are not supplied here.
Totals and shares are calculated from nflverse’s reported regular-season weekly player rows. Per-game averages use the number of rows with that specific stat supplied; missing values are excluded and recorded zeroes count. Games logged may differ from official appearances. Shares use summed team counts in the same logged games, not an average of weekly percentages. Injuries, byes and missing weekly rows can change the sample. Interceptions are sorted highest first by default; more is not better.
The source can lag live box scores and may make corrections. Refresh runs every 15 minutes while this page is open; the retrieval time is not a promise that the latest game has been processed.
