Locks & Lottos
Two ways to read the same game. Evidence on one side, a bigger ask on the other.
“Locks” is the word we use for high-probability thresholds—not an actual guarantee. Here it means stronger recent support, not a measured forecast. “Lottos” are ambitious, lower-probability ideas: the threshold has happened before, but it asks for a standout game. Bigger estimated odds mean a bigger ask, not better value. Both can lose.

The locks
The highest supported targets from our ladder, clearing in at least 75% of the recent sample. The opponent comparison gives another reason to look.

The lottos
Attainable long shots that cleared in 20–40% of the recent sample. Think an anytime TD, 3 passing TDs, or 80–90 receiving yards when the player’s logs support it. Past hit rates are not forecasts.

How the free edition works
Locks use the highest threshold on a fixed ladder that cleared in at least 75% of up to eight recent logged games, with at least three observations. Lottos need at least four observations and a recent clear rate between 20% and 40%. We choose the lowest qualifying target on a capped ladder: no 4+ passing TDs or extreme yardage targets. Yardage and passing-TD targets must exceed the recent average. Anytime-TD history uses rushing and receiving scores; passing TDs do not count. Both use active roster checks and a favorable overall opponent comparison. A past hit rate does not promise a repeat.
We show up to six locks and five lottos, with most new selections focused on the locks. These are research filters, not validated predictions. When sportsbook prices are unavailable, history estimates add one clear and one miss to the sample before converting the rate to decimal odds. A large plus number here is an estimate, not an available payout. Cairo’s Top Picks, spread picks and curated parlays remain in the separate Pro edition.
